How long have I got to make a claim?
As long as you need.
We don’t require you to make all claims within 30 days, because we know, particularly if you have a young family, that life can get in the way sometimes!
So rather than add another deadline to your busy schedule when you’re focussed on catching up on work and all the washing from your holiday, we let you get to it in your own time. We’d suggest you don’t leave it too long though, as it’s often easier to get evidence and supporting documents from airlines, hotels, travel agents, shops and police stations sooner rather than later.
When it is time to make a claim, we recommend you check out our guide on ‘How to claim’ here. That way you can get all your ducks in a row before you begin, and it will be faster so you can fit in that glass of wine or cup of tea you’ve been looking forward to all day.
